Venerable skin and hair care brand debuts new color line at Korto Momolu’s NYFW show.
Guests were able to check out SheaMoisture products before and after the show.
Momolu’s sophisticated and military inspired “Urban Coup” collection pays tribute to the increasing strength and precision of women’s wear in the fashion industry. Celebrity makeup artist Jackie Gomez and celebrity hair stylist Diane C. Bailey were behind the beauty look.
Models doned new SheaMoisture’s “A Better Way to Beautiful” Cosmetics Collection, which launches exclusively at Target stores in March. Shea butter-based with certified organic and natural ingredients, the line features palettes in two sizes that may be customized. The full collections includes CC cream, lip stain, lip gloss, wet/dry eyeshadow, mineral blush in on-trend vibrant, classic and nude shades that suit all skin tones.
Korto Momolu—who was named fan favorite and finished “Project Runway AllStars” fifth season as first runner-up—said, “I can’t think of a more authentic brand to help bring about my vision for the fall/winter 2014 collection. SheaMoisture’s celebration of community, culture and dedicated to global beauty and wellness inspires me tremendously as an artist, as a woman and as a Liberian. I am honored to have their continued support.”
