See beauty and personal care brands present at the New York’s annual ‘gift’ show.
Hot nail care brand Butter London showcased its range of products at NY Now, which was previously known as the New York Gift Show. The brand’s Patent-Gel Top & Tails took home this year’s best new product award in the beauty accessory category.
Another new product winner (in natural/organic) was San Francisco Soap Co. Simply Be Well Simply Be Well’s Natural Honey Bee Bar soap. This set includes four soaps (4oz each)—Honey, Honey Almond, Honey & Aloe, Honey Oatmeal.
Environmental fragrance is big at the NY Gift Show—with brands like Thymes and Archipelago alongside niche brands. Hand in Hand Candles, which are hand-poured clean burning candles made with 100% pure USA sourced GMO-free soy wax and natural essential oils. Pictured is the firm's Wildflower & Fern candle; the rose variant won best new product in the bath and body category.
There were many more men’s grooming lines at this year’s show, including Duke Cannon Supply Co., a line born from its aptly named “Big Ass Brick of Soap.” This growing men’s brand also touts 2-in-1 hair washes and shave cream, all designed for men who spend more time in a hardware store than Pottery Barn.
Little girls love nail polish and makeup—and Luna Star Naturals serves this category by offering products that let them explore without worrying mom. In fact, company founders contend the lineup offers some of the “cleanest makeup” on the market. Products include Pretendi Natural Face Paint Stick and Pinki Natural mineral nail polish, which is water based and odor free.
Buff Her House of Exfoliation sells a line of exfoliating facial scrubs that use 100% natural and organic fruits, veggies, seeds and other ingredients. The fun and unique blends—Banana Bread Pudding, Rice & Beans and Oatmeal Blueberry Cookie, to name just a few—are added to any cleanser to make a scrub. Just a shake or two is needed for each treatment, according to company, which is based in Smyrna, GA.
