Indulge in the passionate scent of Radiant Orchid with the Body Drench Midnight Bloom Body Lotion in Black Orchid. The formulation features floral notes derived from jasmine, orchid and violet petals.

Plum Orchid

Colonial’s new Spring Collection includes Plum Orchid, which features luxurious orchid notes wrapped in the warmth of jasmine and ylang with plum and sandalwood.

Orchid Flower

White Sands' collection of orchid flower hair care ($19.50-$45) delivers this Pantone pick from the inside out. The brand's unique strand of orchid flower extract (Bulbophyllum sp) camouflages split ends like a magic wand!


Herbal and vitamin-based beauty brand Palladio features two eyeshadow kits that incorporate this purple hue: Beauty Silk FX in Femme Fatale ($12), as well as Palladio Beauty Eyeshadow Quad in Spellbound ($8).

Pantone revealed that Pantone 18-3224 Radiant Orchid—billed as a "captivating, magical, enigmatic purple"—is the color of the year for 2014. According to Pantone, a modern and surprisingly versatile shade, Radiant Orchid enlivens the skin, making all who wear it feel more healthy and energetic. Here’s a glimpse of how this exotic hue is making its way into household and personal care this season.
