“Nature loves science” is a leading tagline at Younique, an up-and-coming direct sales beauty brand. According to Melanie Huscroft, co-founder, chief product officer and chief sales officer, the Lehi, UT-based company is a first-to-market and sells almost exclusively through the use of social media. “Presenters” pioneer sales via Younique Virtual Parties, offering products that range from skin care to color cosmetics. The brand met with beauty editors at 287 Gallery in New York City on July 21 to showcase its latest innovations.
