New BCI Index by Stepan

November 30, -0001

Stepan has developed a Biorenewable Carbon Index (BCI), an easy-to-reference product guide that contains physical and environmental data. According to the company, it includes, but is not limited to, biorenewable carbon content, biodegradation, VOC and a sulfate-free notation on Stepan surfactants and solvents. The BCI is a list of those products derived from greater than 50% biorenewable carbon and is organized by two markets, personal care and household, institutional and industrial (HI&I).
