Dantoserve Preservatives New from Lonza

Lonza Performance Chemicals, Fair Lawn, NJ, has launched Dantoserve, a new patented preservative platform for household and industrial applications. The benefits of Dantoserve include value-added blends of hydantoins and benzisothiazolinones, greater safety than straight isothiazolinones and good activity against resistant organisms. Two preservatives are offered: Danto-serve SG (standard grade) for a wide variety of applications and Dantoserve MS (mineral slurry grade) for mineral slurries containing kaolin, calcium carbonate and titanium dioxide.
