TIC Pretested Colloid 10002-95 Improves Gelling Capabilities

November 11, 2005

TIC Pretested Colloid 10002-95 powder improves gelling properties in food and household products, according to executives TIC Gums, Belcamp, MD. The Pretested Colloid 10002-95 powder is a blend of hydrocolloids and salts that work together to form a strong gel. The product can be used by systems that require gelling properties at gum levels of 1.5-2% of the finished product.

The colloid is free-flowing and nearly odorless, TIC Gums executives said. Applications include water gels and air fresheners. More info: (800) 221-3953 or (410) 273-7300; Fax: (410) 273-6469; Website: www.ticgums.com.
