Aloe supplier Aloecorp, Broomfield, CO, has reaffirmed it commitment to provide consumers with scientifically proven and efficacious aloe products. Executives said this is a response to media reports citing an inconsistency in product quality in the market, including a study that said 90% of aloe materials are adulterated and/or over-processed.
“Not only did Aloecorp’s products re-peatedly ranked No. 1 in efficacy tests carried out by leading laboratories and universities, but Aloecorp’s Active-Aloe continues to prove itself the leader in terms of overall biological activity, bioavailability and quality,” said Mick Anderson, Aloecorp president.
The company uses Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy, size exclusion chromatography, high pressure liquid chromatography to test polysaccharide content and efficacy.
