A.M. Todd Co., Kalamazoo, MI, released Applehenon, a natural blend of poly-phenols extracted from apples using a patented process developed by Asahi, one of Japan’s consumer product manufacturers. The product contains procyanidins, and has been proven by Asahi to whiten skin, and reduce bad breath and dental plaque.
This light brown, spray-dried powder has an apple aroma, is readily metabolized by the human body, is shelf stable and has excellent stability to heat and acid.
