Bayer Renames Baysilone

November 14, 2005

Leverkusen, Germany-based GE Bayer Silicones has renamed the recently launched Baysilone Fluid CF 1301 TP 3736 as Silshine 151. The new name reflects Silshine’s ability to provide shine to skin and hair care products as a result of its high refractive index. Executives said the change in name will not have an influence on either the product properties or the specifications.
