The urethanes business of Crompton Corp., Middlebury, CT, introduced Witcobond W-290HSC. The high-solids content, waterborne polyurethane dispersion exhibits outstanding yellowing resistance when subjected to end-use processing temperatures up to 140°C, company executives said.

Witcobond W-290HSC is free of any organic solvents and can be used for applications where toughness, durability and colorfastness are required. Particularly, it is suitable for applications in plastic coating, textile coating, fiberglass sizing and PVC lamination.
