Lonza Expands Portfolio With Three New Products

November 14, 2005

Lonza Inc., Fair Lawn, NJ, has added three new products to its portfolio.

Glycacil SG is an EPA-registered preservative. Company executives called Glycacil SG the next generation idopropynyl butylcarbamate and the most advanced preservative of its type. Its fungicidal activity and water-solubility make it ideal for household products such as liquid dishwashing detergent, light-duty liquids and other household products that require protection against fungal spoilage.

Dantoserve SG is a blend of DMDM hydantoin and benzisothiazoline. This broad-spectrum EPA-registered preservative is said to protect an extensive range of household and industrial products against microbial spoilage.

Finally, Lonzagard NAHS 10X Concentrate can be used for hand sanitizer formulations. Lonza executives said it allows customers to prepare a non-alcohol hand sanitizer that utilizes Lonzagard benzethonium chloride as the active ingredient.
