Lubrizol Unveils AMPS

November 14, 2005

Wickliffe, OH-based Lubrizol Corp. now offers a granular form of the AMPS (2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid) monomer, replacing the powdered form. The granular form improves workplace conditions by reducing dust emissions in the air, resulting in improved work safety and less plant maintenance, company executives said.
The granular form of AMPS provides little or no agglomeration, eliminating clumping and making it easy for customers to transfer, according to executives. More info: Website: www. lubrizol.com.
