VMS Rotor/Stator Mixer

November 14, 2005

Reading, PA-based Premier Mill’s Premier Premier VMS (vertical max shear) Rotor/Stator mixer features a close tolerance rotor/stator mechanism that provides a powerful combination of high flow and high shear. The mixer also features a large internal stator shearing surface area with fine slot openings for efficient homogenizing, emulsification, grinding and particle size reduction capability.
The VMS produces shorter mixing cycles, more univorm blending, faster wetting and dissolving of hard-to-wet powders, finer particle size of suspended solids, smaller emulsion droplet size and improved premixes to increase efficiency of down-stream grinding devices.
