CCL Wins NJPEC and WorldStar Packaging Awards

November 15, 2005

CCL Container, Hermitage, PA, was honored with three awards at the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC) annual awards on Nov. 13.
CCL received a gold award in the household/industrial category for ReckittBenckiser’s Airwick Click spray and a bronze in the same category for the Honeywell Consumer Products Group’s Prestone Super Radiator Stop Leak. CCL also won a silver award in the food and beverage category for the Snapple Elements energy drink bottle.
In other news, CCL Container received the 2003 WorldStar Packaging award in the health and beauty category for its Comfort Hold aluminum aerosol container, which launched last year. The tapered neck and rounded shoulder of the container offers an attention-grabbing silhouette while the ergonomic, palm-sized groove fits the smaller hands of female consumers, executives said.
