November 15, 2005

Noveon’s new literature, “Guerbet Derivatives for Personal Care,” details the company’s Guerbet esters.
The esters are used to create formulations with desirable physical properties, exceptional performance and superior aesthetics. Guerbet esters impart conditioning, emolliency and gloss to formulations.
The product group includes G-38 (INCI name: octyldodecyl isostearate); Ultracas G-20 (octyldodecyl ricinoleate) and G-66 (trioctyldodecyl citrate), a patented 66-carbon liquid ester. More info: (216) 447-6544; E-mail: laurie.marshall@ noveoninc.com; Website: www.carbopol.com.
