Penreco Introduces Versagel CC

November 15, 2005

Versagel CC, the newest candle gel from Penreco, Houston, TX, is a clear, solid gel with a lower melt temperature than the company’s other candle gel products. The enhancement makes the gel applicable for use in candles in which the gel is poured over insoluble embeds, such as pieces of wax.
Versagel CC is crystal-clear and is based on mineral oil and a patented block copolymer technology. It is extremely stable and compatible with most ingredients used in gel candle applications. It also has excellent thermal and UV stability, according to company executives.
