Pro55 Hairspray Polymer Launched by BASF

November 15, 2005

BASF introduced Luvimer Pro55, a low-VOC hair spray that offers strong, long-lasting hold and excellent spray-ability in hair sprays.
The polymer is the next generation of Luvimer 100 P, according to BASF executives. “It is an improved product that can be used in aerosol sprays,” said Alyson Emanuel, director of BASF’s cosmetic ingredients business in North America. “It delivers long-lasting hold with a classic crunch, and can be used for volumizing, styling or finishing sprays, as well as low- or high-VOC aerosol sprays.”
