Clariant Offers New Color Imaging System

November 22, 2005

The New Color Imaging system at Clariant Masterbatches ColorWorks design and technology centers helps designers visualize products in three dimensions and real time. The same technology that produces colorful, high-definition animation for motion pictures and high-speed graphics for video games is available in full-service ColorWorks centers in the U.S., Asia and Europe. The Indigo system, which was de- veloped by the French company ColorViz, provides a quick and easy way for plastics product designers and developers to evaluate color, gloss and texture in plastic components without making costly prototypes.
