Charkit Offers Broccoli Seed Oil for Hair and Skin

November 22, 2005

Charkit Chemical Corp., Darien, CT, has launched Natural Plant Products’ broccoli seed oil, an odorless triglyceride that performs as a functional botanical by imparting luster and shine to the hair and smoothness to the skin.
“These novel oils are capable of enhancing the performance of a wide range of personal care and cosmetic products, and have exceptional application in hair care formulas,” commented Charles Hinnant, president of Charkit.
The ingredient is fully refined to precise specifications, according to executives at Charkit, the exclusive U.S. distributor of Natural Plant Products’ broccoli seed oil. It is a mix of extra-long-chain fatty acids and long-chain saturated fatty acids that create tactile characteristics, executives said. More info: (203) 655-3400; E-mail: jlang@charkit.com.
