Croda’s New Emollient Provides Tack Relief

November 22, 2005

According to the results of a recent study conducted by Edison, NJ-based Croda, the company’s new emollient ester Crodamol STS provides “tack relief” to products. Croda executives said that formulators in the industry will benefit because there will be no tack
in the product to detract from the formula’s feel.
The company conducted a cotton ball test as a visible means of showing the special “detackifying” properties of Crodamol STS.
