Struktol Enters Personal Care Market with Perlastan

November 22, 2005

Struktol Company, a leading producer of specialty additives for the rubber and plastics industry, has now entered the personal care market with its line of Perlastan sarcosine surfactants.
Executives at the Stow, OH-based company said it plans to fill the void for a U.S. producer now that Dow/ Hampshire has departed from this market. Schill & Seilacher, Germany, a sister company of Struktol, already produces these materials outside the U.S. Struktol will follow suit by manufacturing some of the products in its Stow-based facility, as well as offering the complete line of products from the location.
