Noveon Publishes New Product Guides

December 9, 2005

Noveon, Inc., Cleveland, OH, published new product guides for the Schercemol and Hydramol esters. The brochures highlight the specialty ester products of Scher Chemicals, Inc., which was acquired by Noveon in 2004. These specialty emollients offer the formulator the ability to create unique conditioning benefits in a wide range of hair care, skin care, bath and shower and color cosmetic product applications.
The Schercemol esters product guide provides extensive information on more than 35 popular esters for personal care and details the way they feel on the skin, as well as their residual appearance, solubilities and recommended applications. The Hydramol ester guide details a unique class of water-dispersible esters that are used to provide conditioning in aqueous products.
