BASF Offers New Ingredients

BASF has added T-Lite microfine titanium dioxide to its sunscreen ingredient portfolio. T-Lite is a transparent ultraviolet light filter manufactured by Sakai Chemical of Japan, and is compatible and stable in various oils. The company also launched Z-Cote Max, an improved microfine zinc oxide ultraviolet light absorber. Also newly released is Luviquat Supreme, a new hair styling polymer for mousse formulations that delivers good stiffness and hold, and excellent curl retention. BASF has also released Cosmetic Ingredients Product Portfolio, a guide to the company’s ingredients for hair care, skin care, sun care and oral care.
