Pentapharm Launches New Environmental Stress Protector

Pepha-Protect from Switzerland-based Pentapharm protects DNA from degradation caused by environmental stress. The active ingredient is a highly purified extract from citrullus lanatus, which is rich in polysaccharides and vitamins. The preventative effect has been demonstrated by in vitro tests on fibroblasts as well as in a skin model on keratinocytes, according to company executives.
