Hydrosal technology from Salvona Consumer Care, Dayton, NJ, is a unique controlled release system consisting of nanospheres that are coated with a polymeric layer. The technology allows encapsulation of various functional ingredients, including fragrances, sunscreens, moisturizing, anti-bacterial, fungicide, pharmaceuticals and other actives at very high pay loads.
