McIntyre Group Ltd. is working with Corn Products International, Inc., to deliver starch-based ingredients to the multinational personal care market.
Through cooperation with Corn Products International, McIntyre will combine a base of personal care raw materials made from starch with its customary technical support to provide formulators with cost-effective options.
McIntyre has launched the new Mackaderm line of leave-on skin care raw materials, featuring Mackaderm Asto-Dry. Mackaderm Asto-Dry is an essential aesthetic aid imparting a velvety feel to skin care formulations. It is a naturally derived starch polymer manufactured by Corn Products International and is made from a waxy corn characterized as non-genetically modified, a distinguishing attribute in the personal care market. The product is now available in commercial quantities worldwide. More info: www.mcintyregroup.com; www.cornproducts.com.
