PolyPack Announces Innovation In Tray Erector

June 7, 2006

PolyPack, Tampa Bay, FL, introduced a new series Automatic Tray Loader/Former. These systems accept products, automatically divide them into different lanes and index them to create 6, 12 or 24 bundles. They load the collated product atop a pre-dispended corrugated tray blank, allot hot melt glue, fold the tray flaps and compress and square the product/tray combination for discharge to an integrated Polypack shrink wrap machine. Products are stabilized and controlled throughout the process.
Polypack’s machines are constructed from durable stainless steel and can be integrated with a Polypack shrink wrapper to provide a secure, protected package ready for distribution or retail sale. Key features include a smooth continuous motion, up to 50 cycles/minute, modular collation devices and a Nordson hot melt system to meter the adhesive at the tray’s corners.
