l EMD Chemicals, Inc. introduced DHA Rapid, a tanning accelerator that is a mix of DHA and flavonoid Troxerutin that speeds up the self-tanning process. Self-tanning preparations typically induce a reaction between dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and the natural amino acids of upper skin layers. DHA Rapid speeds up this process while offering advantages such as a smoother skin tone and elimination of unpleasant odors. DHA Rapid can be combined with most cosmetic ingredients in all types of formulations and a concentration of 3% is recommended. More info:
