Novapak Introduces

September 8, 2006

A new, patented, 4-liter, ultra-clean, pressure-bottom container from Novapak Corporation is intended for packaging of solvents, acids and other ultra pure chemicals utilized in laboratory testing and other contamination-sensitive applications.
The pressure bottom is designed to resist bulging, distortion and loss of container stability associated with chemicals that build internal pressures up to 35 psi. In addition, the containers can be fluorinated in-line using a mixture of fluorine and nitrogen as the blowing gas, chemically modifying all interior surfaces of the molten HDPE container, creating an inner barrier that resists permeation by oil-based solvents.
The solid strap handle provides a means to hold and pour the bottles securely, while eliminating the potential source of particulate contamination of hollow handle designs. More info: www.pvcc.com.
