Mibelle Biochemistry Launches Two New Products

March 6, 2007

Mibelle Biochemistry has introduced two new products for cosmetic formulations. Dextophane is a second-generation antioxidant to protect the skin against city pollution and MelanoBronze is a product that boosts natural skin tanning.

Dextophane is made with the plant compound sulforaphane that has been identified in sprouts of garden cress as a stimulator of detoxification and antioxidant enzymes. Detoxophane was shown to stimulate the skin’s own detoxification systems.

MelanoBronze is a new approach to tanning. It helps protect the skin by stimulating the formation of melanin—the body’s own UV protection factor. It utilizes ingredients based on DHA to react with skin proteins to produce brown color. MelanoBronze accelerates and enhances skin pigmentation—even without exposure to the sun.
