Momentive Creates Superspreader for Home Care

October 3, 2007

Momentive Performance Materials Inc. introduced Silwet Hydrostable 68 superspreader, an advanced silicone surfactant that may help support a wide range of product performance enhancements for home care, institutional and industrial (HII) formulators.

These formulators may use Silwet Hydrostable 68 superspreader to enhance the results of products such as dish soap, disinfectants, dishwasher detergent, window cleaners and more. By providing immediate spread coverage more than 100 times greater than the corresponding volume of water and 25 times greater than solutions containing conventional surfactants, Silwet Hydrostable 68 superspreader significantly improves the penetration of a product’s active ingredients into crevices.

Silwet Hydrostable 68 is the first in a series of Momentive superspreader product introductions for HII formulators.
