Colonial Chemical, Inc. of South Pittsburg, TN launched a new conditioning agent, ColaQuat HSDC, INCI name: hydroxypropyl bisstearyldimmonium chloride. According to the company, this bisquaternary ammonium compound is ideal for hair and skin care treatment applications and bridges the gap between traditional quats and polymeric quats in terms of conditioning the hair.
