Cremer Oleo Is a Leader in Oleochemical Specialty Esters

With the acquisition of the Witten facilities from the Sasol Group, Cremer Oleo is Europe’s leading manufacturer of oleochemical specialty esters. Now, Cremer offers MCT oils, which find widespread use in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic segment, under the brand names CremerCoor and Miglyol.

Cremer is the world’s only manufacturer to operate high-performance mono plants exclusively for the production of MCT oils at the Wittenberge facilities, and GMP-certified production in two completely independent facilities in Witten and Wittenberge, according to the company.

In addition, Cremer Oleo offers an unrivalled selection of grades (pure C7, C8 and C10 fractions) which are sustainable (coconut-oil-based products, Ecocert certification, RSPO membership) to ensure compliance with a multitude of quality standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, Kosher, Halal, EP and GMP).

Cremer Oleo’s portfolio also includes a broad spectrum of ester-based specialities, such as CremerCoor, Dynasan, Imwitor, Miglyol, Softisan and Witepsol, which find a variety of applications in the cosmetics and pharmaceuticals industries. Depending on their composition, they serve as emollients, emulsifiers, solubilizers and
rheology modifiers.
