GE Silicones Adds FluidFinder to Portal

November 11, 2005

GE Silicones’ The FluidFinder is now found exclusively in the new technical solutions center at the company’s website, www.gesilicones.com, or via direct link, www.fluidfinder.com.

FluidFinder is an online tool that enables chemists to describe unique molecular requests and construct a chemical inquiry quickly and easily, according to GE Silicones executives.

Other benefits of the tool include the selection of multiple independent functional groups to add to the visitor’s custom backbone diagram; FlaskMan, a “virtual research assistant;” automated feedback and links and access to R&D, electronic tools and material selection wizards. FluidFinder is patent-pending.
