Matchmycolor Teams Up With MetalFX, Engelhard

August 17, 2006

MetalFX and matchmycolor.com have teamed up to create a more efficient online color management system. Matchmycolor.com’s color services join with MetalFX’s broad range of metallic colors, enabling the customer to gain access to unique color choices with the assurance of printing accuracy.
Additionally, Engelhard Corporation and SpecialChem announced a partnership to offer online color matching using Engelhard pigments on matchmycolor.com, whose universal colorant database has now been improved with Engelhard Rightfit and Synergy pigments to offer even more possibilities to achieve the perfect match.
“We are excited to start this collaboration with matchmycolor.com,” said Roland Valin, global sales and technical marketing for Engelhard’s color pigments. “The website provides an effective channel to respond to the plastic industry’s need for quick and accurate color matching and will enable us to offer a value-added service to our customers and potential customers worldwide."
In addition to realizing color matches with Engelhard Rightfit and Synergy on PP and HDPE resins pigments, color professionals will also be able to interact with Engelhard experts to solve all their color formulation issues, ask for more information or request samples. Matchmycolor.com has developed color-related services throughout the value chain to help simplify and accelerate advanced color development. www.matchmycolor.com.
