As it rolls out new products at In-Cosmetics
Croda is inviting its customers to get "Up Close and Green" as it launches a new campaign to offer guidance on issues surrounding natural and green raw materials.
According to Croda, as the demand for greener products grows, so does the confusion around what actually qualifies as a green ingredient. In the absence of an official definition for these products, Croda is providing a comprehensive list of green criteria, established by carefully combining key natural, organic and eco-labeling standards.
During In-Cosmetics, Croda also launched several new products including Solaveil CT-300 and Solaveil CZ-300. These inorganic dispersions provide excellent UV efficacy, together with enhanced aesthetics, according to the company.
Also new are Hydroavena HpO and Hydroexcelsa HpO hydrating peptides. These moisturizing agents are derived from gentle enzymatic hydrolysis of certified organic crops. Their hygroscopic peptide chains bind moisture into the skin or hair to improve softness and suppleness. Natural substantivity enhances this effect, making them ideal moisturizing ingredients in both leave-on and rinse-off hair and skin care products, according to Croda.
