Bell Flavors and Fragrances: named an assortment of new hires at its headquarters in Northbrook, IL and fragrance manufacturing site in Middletown, NY.
Marlene Espinosa was appointed production manager in Middletown. She will be responsible for managing the liquid fragrance compounding and botanical extract manufacturing areas, as well as the implementation and training of the plant-wide safety program.
Melissa Scharoff was recently named fragrance laboratory manager. Her main job responsibilities include training, assisting and mentoring all lab technicians on daily functions and safety procedures of the lab.
Eric Alexander was recently appointed quality assurance manager. He will manage all aspects of Northbrook Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs. He will also develop, implement and maintain SOPs for quality control assurance, HACCP programs and maintain SQF Certification. Alexander previously worked for Tyson Foods in various quality assurance positions.
Maryann Esposito was recently appointed fragrance evaluation director. She will help establish an evaluation department to aid Bell in the growth of its fragrance business. Maryann previously worked at Mane, Belmay and Symrise as vice president of creative fragrance development.
