Ajinomoto U.S.A., Inc.’s Specialty Chemi-cals Division has redesigned its website at www.ajichem.com. The website showcases new product information, technical data and corporate news. Registered users are able to order samples and download data and literature.
   
“We are excited by the launch of our redesigned website because it allows us to provide visitors with better service and a simple, easy way to access information,” said Hiroji Ishii, associate director.
   
Ajinomoto is a supplier of high-quality amino acid-based ingredients for cosmetics, hair care, skin care and sun care products.

BBW Launches Home Fragrance Microsite


Bath and Body Works recently added a home fragrance microsite on its website,  www.bathandbodyworks.com. The new microsite enables visitors to take a journey with home fragrance expert Harry Slatkin, where they can see, hear and experience his expertise in home fragrance with the click of a mouse.
   
The microsite is divided into three sections: education, shopping and fragrance finder. Viewers may choose from a library of webisodes to learn more about home fragrance—how to layer, the difference between a Wallflower and a Scentport and what makes up the perfect autumn collection, just to name a few.

Drom Fragrances Upgrades Site


The new www.drom.com expresses the company’s unique corporate philosophy, a mix of technology and creativity unseen by other fragrance houses, according to Drom.
   
“Our new website is inspired by our passion for the art of perfumery, our ultimate commitment to creativity and the young and artistic spirit that drives everyone here at Drom,” explained Dr. Ferdinand Storp, Drom’s general manager. “This modern and stylish website perfectly fits Drom’s position as an independent and creative fragrance house.”
   
The site features sophisticated multimedia effects and the latest in Flash animation to draw visitors into the website where they’ll discover the unique world of Drom. The dynamic introductory movie simulates a flight through an anonymous and cold concrete city, a vigorous journey that ends at Drom’s stylized House of Fragrance—an inviting and oasis-like place with a boutique attitude.
   
Visitors can also view a virtual version of Drom’s flacon museum.
