Tami Dimmerman searched for a product that would tame and style her daughter Chloe’s flyaway hair without aggravating her eczema or irritating her sensitive skin. Unwilling to settle for what was in the marketplace, Dimmerman, the mother of two, spent months experimenting with different all-natural formulations until she found the perfect combination and solution—a hypoallergenic hair gel.

At that moment, Dimmerman's third creation was born—Le Baby Inc. Headlining the collection is Le Baby hair gel ($9.95), a fragrance-free styling product meant to define wispy curls and tackle unruly after-nap hair. The formulation features mild ingredients such as glycerin and aloe barbadensis leaf extract, according to the company.

According to Dimmerman, “The children’s hair care market has become a big industry. Where once a baby care routine involved a simple bath and powdering, parents and caretakers are now looking for products that pamper babies both physically and mentally.I wanted to create a worry-free product that helped moms and dads create fun hairstyles; and keep their kids groomed while feeling good about it.”

Le Baby products give parents styling options for tots.
These days, celebrity kids are sporting rocker chic Mohawks, bohemian-cool shags and posh bobs causing stylists to acclaim them as hairstyle icons—as seen with Hollywood offspring such as Suri Cruise or Kingston Rossdale. Ms. Dimmerman wanted to cater to likeminded fashion-forward consumers with a “must-have item for the diaper bag.”

“Today's fashionable parents think of their children as extensions of themselves,” said Dimmerman. “Modern kids need to look just as fashionable and stylish as their cool moms and dads.Hairstyles have become a way of self-expression for kids and remind others that they have their own personalities.”

Le Baby is available at two children’s boutiques in Philadelphia and online at www.lebabyinc.com
