Procedure | |
Heat phase A to 95°C until uniform. Premix phase B and add to phase A. Heat phase C to 75°C while stirring. Add phase C to phase A+B and mix with high agitation. Mixture will look non-homogeneous until phase inversion. Add phase D to phase A+B+C and mix until uniform. Cool to room temperature and adjust the pH with phase E until desired range. Note: Phase inversion will occur between 45-55°C and lotion will become smooth and uniform. SPF 15 based on BASF Sunscreen Simulator. | |
