Procedure | |
Charge water, add Mackol CAS-100N and mix and heat to 45°C. Mix until clear and uniform. Hold batch at 45°C. Slowly add the Rheomer 33 and mix until uniform. The batch is cloudy at this point. Slowly increase the pH to 7.0-7.5 and mix until the batch is clear and homogeneous. The polymer will swell/thicken and the batch should be mixed slowly to avoid trapping air. Add Mackernium CC-112P9, Mackamide LME and glycerin to the main batch. Slowly add Miracare LSC-217 and mix until uniform. Continue to hold batch at 45°C. Melt cocoa butter and add to the batch. When dissolved/uniform, discontinue heating. Add Neolone 950, Mica, fragrance and dye as desired. Adjust pH to 5.0-6.0 if necessary. | |
