Powder Cleaning Composition

US Patent No. 8,138,135 B2; Milliken & Company, Spartanburg, SC, has patented a powder cleaning composition for a textile substrate. It consists of an absorbent particulate (urea formaldehyde polymeric material); a super absorbent polymer (a cross-linked polyacrylic acid compound); water; surfactant; and additive selected from an organic liquid, a stain resist agent, a pH adjuster, a biocide, a static reducing additive, a dust suppressing additive, a vacuum retrieval additive, a metal ion chelator and fragrance.
