Procedure | |
Mix the water from phase A with high-speed propeller agitation. Slowly sprinkle in the remaining phase A ingredient, mix until clear. Add phase B ingredients to phase A and keep mixing speed on high. Slowly sprinkle in phase C ingredient with high speed propeller mixing. Mix until free of any lumps and batch is homogeneous. Mixing speed can now be reduced and phase D ingredient added with mixing. Heat the batch to 75°C with medium speed propeller mixing. Once batch is at 75°C and uniform, then the batch can be slowly cooled to 60°C. Add phase E to batch. Batch will thicken and continue mixing until clear and uniform. Continue slow cooling of batch and add phase F with mixing. At 35°C, add premixed phase G ingredients to batch with mixing. Add phase H ingredient to batch, mix until dispersed completely. Add premixed phase I slurry, that was mixed with high-speed propeller agitation, to the batch and mix until completely dispersed. Batch will turn white color. If necessary, adjust pH to within specification using phase J. | |
