Allergan Patents Means To Enhance Hair Growth

US Patent No. 8,298,518 B2; Allergan, Inc., Irvine, CA, has been awarded a patent for a method of increasing at least one attribute selected from the group consisting of thickness of hair, conversion of intermediate to terminal hair, number of hair, rate of hair growth of hair and density of hair.

It is comprised of topically administering an effective amount of bimatoprost with a second therapeutic agent selected from the group consisting of estradiol, oxandrolone, minoxidil, procipia and agents which block the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone.
