Where Do Old Editors Go?

As Happi marks its 50th anniversary, we’re hearing from colleagues and competitors from years past. Industry veterans may recall these long-time editors of magazines in the household, chemical, detergent and cosmetics industries.

Hamilton Carson, right, retired as editor of Happi in 1993. He recently entertained these distinguished colleagues: Don Davis, left, former editor of Drug & Cosmetic Industry (now Global Cosmetic Industry), and Janet Donohue, former editor of Soaps, Cosmetics and Chemical Specialties. Carson still lives in Verona, NJ. Davis has retired to Florida and Donohue—clearly the youngest of the trio—is now doing public relations for Rutgers University in Newark, NJ.
