Croda Europe Launches New Surfactant

January 29, 2013

Croda Europe debuted a low-colored, biobased surfactant. NatraSense AG-810 provides excellent detergency, superior wetting, dispersing and interfacial tension reduction properties for increased soil removal, according to the company. NatraSense AG-810 is especially effective in hard surface cleaning applications as it provides a non-streaky clean on glossy surfaces and is non-corrosive to synthetic materials, a common problem with many nonionic surfactants.

NatraSense AG-810 readily dissolves in high concentrations of sodium hydroxide and remains stable. It can also increase the solubility of other nonionic surfactants in highly alkaline solutions. High activity, low viscosity and the light color make NatraSense AG-810 ideal for use in both household and I&I cleaning, according to Croda.
