February 13, 2013

Gojo Industries has been recognized as a Green Giving Corporation by Matthew 25: Ministries for its outstanding corporate environmental and social well-being initiatives. The company has donated millions of pounds of soap and Purell Instant Hand Sanitizer to humanitarian aid efforts in the US and around the world.

As a result, Gojo earned the Green Giving Partner Seal from Matthew 25: Ministries. According to the charitable organization, the seal identifies Gojo as a “corporate partner that makes multiple donations per year, makes significant donations based on company size and capacity, is committed to minimizing corporate waste and shows outstanding environmental and social sustainability initiatives in repurposing excess product for humanitarian work.”

Gojo also donates hand hygiene products to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Second Harvest of Toronto, Food Banks Canada and Summit Missions International as part of its social well-being initiatives, according to the company.
