LaRoche-Posay Tackles Shiny Skin and Big Pores

February 13, 2013

• Shiny skin and enlarged pores are two oily skin woes that can be linked to the same single physiological cause: hyperseborrhea, a skin condition linked to excessive sebum/oil production. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat Daily Mattifying + Pore-Refining Moisturizer ($31.99) is offering a single solution to both quandaries. The formula contains a unique combination of ingredients that neutralizes shine for lastingly matte, clear and balanced skin with tightened pores. Sebulyse, an advanced sebum-targeting active ingredient that is said to be more powerful than zinc, enables the mosturizers to more effectively minimize sebum from the start. In-vivo tests have shown that Sebulyse significantly diminishes the appearance of pore size (21%) and shine (32%), according to LaRoche-Posay.

Additional ingredients include lipo-hydroxy acid, zinc pidolate and vitamins C and E.
