• JAPAN: Sony Corp. has reportedly developed a technology that is expected to pave the way for a compact, high-performance skin analyzer based on an image-capturing sensor used in digital cameras. The software assesses skin condition by examining texture and pore size and by checking for subsurface blemishes and other anomalies that are difficult to spot through normal methods, according to a report published in The Nikkei Weekly.
